Eric Aldrich, assistant professor at the Department of Economics at the University of California, Santa Cruz has been appointed as associate director of the Center for Analytical Finance (CAFIN).
“Eric’s path-breaking research is at the core of CAFIN’s mission, and he has also played a lead role in developing student educational programs which we hope to expand,” says CAFIN Director and Distinguished Professor of Economics Nirvikar Singh.
Aldrich’s main interests are computational economics and finance. Prior to working at UCSC, he worked at the Federal Reserve Bank of Atlanta. Through his publications he has made significant contributions in the empirics of behavioral and computational finance.
