Societe Generale looking for interns to work in New York City

January 22, 2014

Societe Generale is looking for UCSC interns to work in New York City. An important informational meeting, graciously hosted by Greg Laughlin and Eric Aldrich, on Wednesday, January 29 from 10:30-11:00 am. This student meeting is vital for the preparation of their applications which are due February 14.  Interns are considered for fulltime employment.  Following the outstanding experience last summer of our inaugural two UCSC student interns, Societe Generale in New York City is again opening summer internship applications to UC Santa Cruz juniors. This is a full-time, paid 10-week program with desired start date of June 16, 2014. Interns can be considered for full-time employment upon successful completion of their summer internship!

Societe Generale recruits from top Eastern schools and the University of Chicago; alum Sam Rosenberg (Mathematics ’93), a Managing Director at Societe Generale, has worked to have UCSC added to this list.  A partner of Sam’s, Shaun Rowatt, will be coming out to campus to personally meet with students after January 29, at a date to be set in the next few days.
